Photograms
This is a series of photograms that can be presented together as a group, as seen in the photo. I chose tarpaulin as the presentation material due to its strong visual and material qualities. Its industrial nature connects my exploration of human impact, waste, and the environment, while creating a more engaging presentation. Instead of functioning as separate images, the use of tarpaulin allows the photograms to become part of the installation.
Enlightened
The illumination from beneath creates the impression of floating planes, giving the work a sense of lightness and depth while transforming the relationship between the physical materials and their surrounding space.
Magic Lantern
The resulting images are reflecting my interest in transforming discarded and overlooked materials into something visually engaging, allowing me to consider their presence and significance in the environment
Landmark
The combination of multi-layered images, light, and reflections transforms the box into a miniature environment, while the use of plastic highlights the connection between human consumption and environmental impact.
